Schultz appeared on KUSI to discuss his priorities for the year — including expanding the work of Champions for Health, SDCMS’ non-profit, in providing medical support for San Diego’s underserved and minority communities and getting more physicians into leadership positions in our healthcare system so that the needs and perspectives of patients are better represented. The first is tomorrow from 12:15 to 1:15pm and is on Medicare Changes: What Physicians Need to Know About 2020 Changes to Audits and Reimbursements and Other Updates. This webinar is presented by the Medical Director of California’s Medicare provider, Noridian Healthcare Solutions, and will discuss an overview of Annual Wellness Visits and Chronic Care Management services, including how physicians can get paid and be prepared for audits under the Targeted Probe and Educate Program, among other issues.
