NYCU April 10, 2019 April 20, 2019 CMA, CMA Benefits, General, Infectious Disease, Influenza, Leadership, Member Social, Public Health 0 WEDNESDAY, APRIL 10, 2019 PHYSICIANS: The California Medical Association is seeking applicants for a new Diversity and Inclusion Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). This committee is charged with assisting the CMA Board in implementing the CMA Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Plan, including its 2019 strategy on leadership development. The Plan was previously developed by an earlier Diversity and Inclusion Technical Advisory Committee. The time commitment involves one face-to-face meeting; a minimum of three telephone meetings; and an expectation that the physician member will prepare for each meeting by reading assigning reading material, participate in all TAC discussions (including e-mail discussions), and actively engage in TAC activities. The only requirements are that the applicant/nominee be a member of the CMA, have experience or a strong demonstrated interest in diversity and inclusion-related efforts, complete a nomination/application form on the CMA website and provide a brief CV.
